As a John Deere Service Technician, you’ll gain in-demand skills that will take your talent to the next level! Leading Edge Equipment is proud to partner with North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) for the John Deere Tech 2-Year Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program. 


The program takes six semesters or approximately 24 months to complete. We’ll get you the education you need to start building your career – quickly!

The John Deere Tech Program

The nationally-recognized John Deere Tech Program at NDSCS provides an incredible learning environment. Students receive state-of-the-art technical training on John Deere equipment and technology through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training and supervised work experience at the dealership.

The current estimated cost of 2 years at NDSCS is $45,208. (NDSCS 2024-2025 estimate, includes tuition, fees, room, board, books and supplies)


Up to $22,000 in scholarships and $23,208 in tuition reimbursement means $45,208 of your education is covered – 100% of the costs! You’ll get paid for your training time at the dealership. And when you graduate, you’ll have a career ahead of you at Leading Edge Equipment.
